A Blogger is Born!

Lately I have been following several Blogs with admiration.  The blogs have motivated and inspired me to create a blog for my family; particularly since it has begun to expand :).  I think this is a great way to share and commemorate all of the details and "little things" that often would become forgotten if not journaled.  As many of you fellow "Facebookers" know, I am always posting my thoughts, but they are usually confined to a brief sentence.  I guess now's the chance to get into our daily "status" a little further.  I have no clue how this all works, so have patience with me while I figure this out :)  So here I go, ready or not, into the world of blogging!
